Christian
I am an imperfect person saved by the redeeming grace of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I aim to honor him in all that I do. Our family attends a church in Greenville. My husband and I served in children’s ministry at our previous church in 2015–2016, and I have attended Women’s Bible Study regularly since 2019. My life is a testament to God’s faithfulness—He has blessed me far beyond what I deserve, and the work of my hands flows from the gratefulness of my heart.
Wife & Mother
I am a proud wife of fourteen years and mother to three energetic children (ages 12, 10, and 7). Like every family, we are imperfect and navigating the beautiful chaos of raising kids today. I deeply empathize with parents doing their best in a stressful world. My children challenge me daily, yet they remain my greatest motivation and blessing.
Patriot
I love my country and its foundational principles of liberty, individual freedom, and limited government. Like our Founders, I value liberty above safety and personal responsibility over collectivism. I believe government has increasingly become a barrier to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Yet I remain hopeful. I am committed to honoring those who sacrificed for our nation by restoring a government that protects the rights of WE THE PEOPLE rather than infringing on them.
Small Business Owner & Employer
My husband and I own Bear Creek Building & Properties, a small residential construction and development company in northern Kent County. As a licensed builder and realtor in Michigan, I bring hands-on experience in business operations, payroll, taxes, accounting, and executive oversight. I understand the real challenges small business owners have faced in recent years and am passionate about removing unnecessary burdens so they can thrive.
Non-Profit Founder & Leader
Concerned about the direction of public education, I joined with other dedicated parents in September 2021 to launch a homeschool co-op. What began as a grassroots effort grew into a close-knit second family. I later formalized it as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. This experience showed me the power of parental action when government systems fall short.
Experienced & Educated
I earned my MBA (Finance concentration) in 2022, graduating magna cum laude, and have taught government as an adjunct professor at Cornerstone University. While my undergraduate degree is in Social Work. I later pursued chemistry studies and gained laboratory, regulatory compliance, and data analytics experience at Perrigo, Amway, and Steelcase (2010–2019). In 2019, I left corporate life to focus on my family and our businesses, then transitioned into public service as a Kent County Commissioner and Cannon Township Trustee. I recently authored my first book, a Christian sci-fi thriller.
Smart & Innovative
I built this website myself—every word and every line of code. I am proficient in multiple programming languages, database development, data analytics, and visualizations. An analytical yet creative thinker, I develop my own policy ideas based on real-world experience as a business owner, employer, developer, elected official, and parent. I am a smart, experienced patriot who wants to serve my community with integrity and common sense.
